A Night for the Creators: The Creators Inc. and BuzzStar Halloween Party
By Ray Diaz · October 2026

Some parties are about being seen. This one was about the people building what comes next. Hannah and I spent Halloween night at the Creators Inc. party for BuzzStar. She came as a French maid. I came in a mechanic's jumpsuit.

The man behind it
Andy Bachman started Creators Inc. in 2020 with a laptop and no partners. He is a Babson College graduate and was named one of the country's top entrepreneurs under 30. In a few short years he built one of the most powerful companies in the creator economy, and Entrepreneur reports it has driven more than a billion dollars in sales for creators.
What sets Andy apart is that he saw the problem from the inside. More than 200 million people call themselves creators, and only about 4 percent earn six figures. Most still depend on brand deals for their income. So he stopped managing creators on other people's platforms and built one of his own.
What BuzzStar is
BuzzStar is a live video-call app that lets fans book one-on-one calls with the creators they follow. It is a real conversation, not a pre-recorded shoutout. Creators set their own availability, fans get a notification when a creator goes live, and the price rises with demand. Boxers, rappers and internet personalities are all on it.
I built an audience one sketch at a time. BuzzStar is the most direct version of what made social media work in the first place: real people connecting.
Who showed up
The room was full of names. Boxing champion Adrien Broner and streamer DeenTheGreat were streaming live from the party. Blueface was there too, and it was good to reconnect with an old friend.
The Hollywood Fix, the paparazzi channel run by Fletcher "Fletch" Greene with more than a million YouTube subscribers, stopped us for an interview on the way in.
Why it mattered
I came up in the earliest days of Vine and Instagram, when creators were still figuring out whether this could be a career. Standing in a room built around giving creators ownership of their own platform felt like a full circle. And sharing it with Hannah made it the best kind of night out.
